Itinerary one: Göcek to the Datca Peninsula.
This route is perfect for exploring the glorious scenery of the renowned peninsulas of Datca and Bozburun. Stops might include the bay of Fethiye and her numerous islands, the mysterious ruins of Caunos near Dalyan, the pretty village of Sorgut facing the Greek island of Symi and the glorious coves of Hisaronu Bay, including Palamutbuku, one of the most stunning beaches of Turkey with crystal clear sea.
Itinerary two: Göcek to Kekova.
This cruise encompasses history, archaeology and the delights of secluded bays and stunning scenery including pretty Gemeler beach to visit St Nicholas’ church (Santa Claus), famous Olu Deniz, the extraordinarily beautiful Butterfly gorge, the pine woods and the vivid turquoise coastal waters, the wonderful Ottoman towns of Kalkan and Kas and the 2000 year old ruins of Kekova. To make your sailing holiday in Turkey more comfortable, Astral Music recently underwent a major re-fit with new teak decks, standing and running rigging, electric windlass and electronics installed. All the work carried out was approved by professional surveyors.
Cabins: Available to rent are the forward cabin with double bunk, the mid cabin with 2 single bunks or the aft cabin with double bunk and en suite shower.
You will find plenty of storage in the cupboards, hot showers (as well as a deck shower), CD player with selection of CDs, fans in all the rooms and a book library.
Astral Music is designed to be self sufficient for many weeks without having to put into port. She comes with a mainsail, Mizzen, Genoa, staysail, mizzen staysail and cruising chute and combines good sailing performances on very solid and steady background.
